Nathan Mallipeddi (Westly Prize 2021), founder of My Speech, a digital resource platform enabling access to resources, affordable speech therapy, and community support, received a Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans.
Jeanny Yao & Miranda Wang (Westly Prize 2018), co-founders of Novoloop (formerly Biocollection) were cited as “30 Under 30 North America: All-Star Alumni” for their chemical recycling technology that breaks down previously unrecyclable plastic into base chemicals for reuse in footwear, apparel, sporting goods, automotive and electronics
The following Westly Prize finalists were named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Lists:
- Chrystal Wang and Vikram Sreedhar (Westly Prize 2023), co-founders of Shimmer, for their game-changing work providing ADHD support with the first ever ‘bite-sized’ ADHD coaching platform.
- Ana Gabriella Casalme (Westly Prize 2020), founder of Novelly, a nonprofit publisher and digital library now housing more than 50 e-books written by underrepresented youth.
- Soraya Fouladi (Westly Prize 2019), Founder of Jara, a hybrid non-profit and social enterprise on a mission to ensure the 800 million children who live in high-poverty, low internet communities can access quality education everywhere.
